Privacy policy

Last updated: August 26, 2026

ELECTROProz ("we," "us") operates electroproz.com and provides device repair, buyback and related services from 15460 NW 77th Ct, Miami Lakes, FL 33016. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and how we handle it.

What we collect

  • Contact details — your name, phone number, email, and (for mail-in repairs) your mailing address, when you submit a quote, booking, mail-in, buyback, registration or trade-account form.
  • Device information — make and model, the issue you describe, and the IMEI or serial number if you provide it.
  • Device passcode — only if you choose to provide it during device registration. It is used solely to power-test your device during and after repair, and it is deleted from our system once your repair is complete.
  • Payment information — payments are handled by a secure third-party payment processor. Your card number goes directly to that processor in encrypted (tokenized) form; we never see or store your full card number.
  • Repair history — tickets, status updates and communications about your repair.
Our website does not run third-party advertising trackers and we do not sell visitor data. We do operate our own first-party analytics to improve the site — see "Website analytics & form interactions" below.

We do not collect biometric data, precise GPS location, government identification numbers, or any special category of sensitive personal information. We do not build advertising profiles, and we do not buy personal information from data brokers.

Website analytics & form interactions

To understand how our website is used and to improve it, we run our own first-party analytics. We do not use third-party advertising trackers, and we do not sell or share this data with advertisers. On our own systems we record:

  • Usage — pages viewed, links and buttons clicked, how far you scroll, which services and devices you look at, and how you use our on-site AI assistant (how often and for how long).
  • Technical data — your IP address, approximate location (city/region derived from your IP), and your device, browser and operating-system type. We use the IP address to recognize automated crawlers and to help protect the site.
  • Form interactions — what you type into our contact fields (name, phone, email), including information you enter but do not submit, so we can follow up on incomplete inquiries and fix form problems. We never record passwords, device passcodes, or payment-card details.

The on-site AI assistant is the one place your words leave our systems: to generate a reply, what you type in the chat is sent to our AI provider, Anthropic, which processes it on our behalf under contract and is not permitted to use it to train its models or for its own purposes. Everything else described on this page stays on our own infrastructure.

This information is stored on our own infrastructure and is not sold. Raw identifying details — the contact values you type and your IP address — are automatically deleted after 90 days; only anonymized, aggregate counts are kept longer. If you would prefer we not retain contact information you entered without submitting, call or email us and we will delete it.

Your consent, and how to withdraw it

Florida law requires the consent of everyone involved before an electronic communication is recorded. That is why this is stated plainly rather than buried: by continuing to use this website, you consent to the recording described in the section above — including what you type into contact fields before you send it.

If you would rather we did not, you have three options, and none of them affects your repair:

  • Turn on Global Privacy Control in your browser — see below. This is automatic and needs nothing from us.
  • Do not type into the forms. Call us on (305) 766-2591 or walk in instead. Everything on this site can be done by phone.
  • Ask us to delete what we already hold. Call, email admin@electroproz.com, or visit the shop. We will delete it and confirm.

Global Privacy Control

Some browsers and extensions can send a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal that tells every site you visit not to sell, share or profile your information. We honour it.

When we detect the GPC signal, this site will not record anything you type into a contact field unless you actually submit the form. Pre-submit capture is switched off for you automatically, with no account, no cookie banner choice and no request to us.

To be exact about what GPC does not change: anonymous, cookieless usage counts — which page was viewed, whether a button was clicked — still run, because they carry no identity and are never sold or shared. If you want those switched off too, ask us and we will exclude you.

How we use it

  • To diagnose, quote, repair and return your device, and to update you by call or text about your repair.
  • To process payments, prepare shipping labels for mail-in repairs, and verify buyback transactions.
  • To honor your warranty and keep records required for business and tax purposes.

What we never do

  • We do not sell or rent your personal information.
  • We do not browse, copy or access the personal files, photos, messages or accounts on your device. Passcodes are used for power-testing the hardware only.

Who we share it with

Only the service providers needed to run the shop and this website: our payment processor, shipping carriers for mail-in repairs, our repair-management system, Cloudflare (which hosts this site and stores the analytics described above), and Anthropic (which powers the on-site AI assistant). These providers may only use your information to provide their service to us. We may also disclose information if required by law.

How long we keep it

Repair records are kept as long as needed for warranty service and standard business record-keeping. Device passcodes are deleted when your repair is complete. Website-analytics identifiers — typed contact values and IP addresses — are automatically deleted after 90 days; only anonymized, aggregate counts are kept longer. Conversations with our on-site AI assistant are kept for up to 12 months so we can connect an enquiry to a repair if you come into the shop afterwards, and are then deleted automatically. If you type contact details into that chat they are kept for the same period. You can ask us to delete them sooner at any time.

Text messages (SMS)

When you give us your mobile number on a booking, quote, mail-in, registration or trade-account form, you agree that ELECTROProz may call or text you at that number about your repair — for example to confirm an appointment, send a quote, let you know your device is ready, or answer your questions. These are service messages about a repair you asked us for; we do not send marketing texts without your separate consent. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP to any text to opt out, or HELP for help. Opting out of texts does not affect your repair — we can still reach you by phone or email.

Your choices

These are available to anyone who asks, whatever state you live in. We do not ask which privacy law you are invoking, because we would honour the request either way.

  • Know — ask what we hold about you and where it came from.
  • Access — ask for a copy.
  • Correct — tell us something is wrong and we will fix it.
  • Delete — ask us to erase it, except the parts we must keep for tax, warranty or a repair still in progress. We will say plainly which those are.
  • Opt out of pre-submit capture — turn on Global Privacy Control, or just ask.
  • Opt out of texts — reply STOP to any message.

Call (305) 766-2591, email admin@electroproz.com, or visit the shop. We will respond within 30 days, usually the same day. We will not charge you, and we will not treat you differently for asking — no worse price, no slower repair.

We have never sold or shared personal information for money or for cross-context behavioural advertising, and we do not intend to. If that ever changes, this page will say so before it happens.

Accessibility

ELECTROProz is committed to making this website usable by everyone, including people who use assistive technology. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA and review the site regularly. If you have any trouble using part of this site, or you need information from it in a different format, please call (305) 766-2591 or email admin@electroproz.com.
