iPad glass is large, thin and bonded to the frame, so taking it off without cracking the replacement or bending the chassis is the whole skill.

It's slower than a phone and there's no rushing it.
On Pro models the display and touch layer are one laminated assembly. On some older iPads the glass can be done on its own, which is cheaper — we check which yours is before quoting.

About Apple Pencil
Will Apple Pencil still work?
Yes. Pencil support lives in the digitiser, and a properly fitted assembly keeps it working normally. If someone's Pencil stopped working after a repair elsewhere, that's a poor-quality panel rather than an unavoidable trade-off.
It's cracked but everything still works. Can I leave it?
For a while. The problem is that cracks spread, edges lift, and glass fragments work down into the frame — which turns a screen job into a screen-and-frame job. Cheaper to do sooner.
Is it really worth it versus a new iPad?
