The camera bar
Why Pixel backs break differently
Most phones crack their rear glass in the middle or at a corner. Pixels tend to go across the camera bar, because it stands proud of the body and takes the first hit on almost any drop.
That changes the repair. The bar and the rear panel can be separate parts depending on model, and the lenses sitting under it need checking for hairline cracks that only show up in photos. We look at all of it before quoting.

Does cracked glass affect the cameras?
It can. Cracks over the lenses scatter light and give you haze or flare — if your photos have gone soft since the drop, that's usually why.
