HDMI port replacement
Console runs, TV gets nothing.
Front port, rear ports, same story — they take every controller cable, headset and external drive that's ever been pulled out at an angle, and eventually the solder joints give up.
It's a contained repair. The connector comes off, any torn pads get rebuilt, and a new one goes on.
You can, but a torn connector can short against the board, and that turns a cheap job into an expensive one. We'd fix it while it's small.
Different job, and a very common one — see Xbox controller charging repair.
Console runs, TV gets nothing.
Controller only charges at a certain angle.
Dead, or it powers up for a second and quits.
Loud, hot, or shutting down mid-session.
Grinding, ejecting, or a disc stuck inside.
Aim drifts, sticky buttons, dead triggers.
