One thing worth knowing: on a PS5 the drive is paired to the console's board. You can't just drop a second-hand drive in — it has to be re-paired, and that's the step most DIY attempts miss.
Please don't. Forcing it is what turns a stuck disc into a scratched disc and a bent loader. Bring it in as it is.
